Hey! This is Oxy_Moron! I love to write--It is my passion. I hope to become a published author someday. I write poetry, fantasy, and historical fiction. I love to write other types of stories too, but those are by far my favorite. My other hobbies include, singing and drawing. I also love philosophy and science. I believe that you never stop learning. So, here's your chance to learn some good advice:
If you want to be an author of any type, especially historical fiction, you have to do a lot of research. Call me a pac rat, but I have papers dating back to like 3rd grade that I keep as a reference. I use these papers as a resource if I need to know about something. I even use them in my fantasy stories. For example: I have a story called The Apprentice that takes place in an entirely made up world, but I used some old notes about becoming a knight, parts of a castle, and knight's armor to base some of my facts on. This, I think, proves my point (not that it really needed any proving). Take my advice and never stop learning, or don't take my advice. Whatever.
